Depending on how young they are, it's more of a burden than without kids. I don't imagine you can fully relax with children around. At least not both husband and wife.

My wife and I have been gone probably close to half of the weekends of this year. My dog sitter comes and picks my dogs up and drops then off when we get back. Can't do that with a kid.

That being said, we fully plan to have kids within 3-5 years, but we enjoy married life without them for now.

I didn't mean bring him with me on the road trips. My situation is different since I'm a single father. I get my parents to watch him, which they love to do, while I'm gone. It's pretty simple to make plans ahead since the schedules comes out months before the games.
