Mass Shootings Are Not A White Man Problem... 2019: 51% Black, 29% White, 11% Latino

"I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country," Rep. Ilhan Omar claimed on Al Jazeera.
"We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men," Don Lemon had previously claimed on CNN.
"White Men Have Committed More Mass Shootings Than Any Other Group," Newsweek had argued.

When the stats don't add up, they will change the statistics.

I hate the fact that it has become impossible to have a serious discussion on any topic in this country, without politicizing the discussion.

There is no question that the data cited in the OP (and the several identical threads) is entirely accurate. There is also no question that those numbers include two very different phenomena.
One phenomenon is completely avoidable by the average citizen. Avoid immersing yourself in organize crime and drug culture, and you will not be exposed to 90% of the “mass shootings“ included within those statistics. Yes, the vast majority of those shooters are non-Whites.
The other phenomenon is totally random, as to its victims. The average citizen cannot avoid potential exposure to these shootings without simply barricading himself in his home. The vast majority of those shooters are indeed young white men.
It is not particularly difficult to understand the motivations underlying the first phenomenon. They have been well documented for decades.
The second remains a mystery, and I am far more interested in identifying those causative factors that in politicizing the shootings themselves.
