Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but it would seem like you're talking about this year, right? This is Year 3.

If so, I actually agree. By now he's got enough of his guys, his coaches, whatever scheme he's calling "his" in place to own the results for this year on his own. If we are not right there nipping at BAMA's heels, and thus in great shape to claim an SECW crown, then we've failed to do what we set out to do, which was replace Miles with a guy who could do better than him.

But I don;t think we should be talking about some 5 year plan at LSU to be in a position to win just our division...even if it IS the toughest division in all of college football. If Orgeron has not yet claimed an SECW crown after his fifth full year as head coach, and he gets a 6th...then we've got severe leadership problems and a fan base that has decided it's happy with anything.
