I'm no offensive coordinator, but why would it take 7 or 8 weeks to install one offense while already having a different offense installed? Why would a new QB that's used to running the RPO need that much time to learn that offense? Also, if you have young receivers, wouldn't it be easier to just install the offense Ensminger wanted from the beginning? The point at which Burrow got here doesn't seem to make a difference to me in this sense. Of course, I could be completely wrong.

Huh?
who says it takes that long to install? It takes a bit to be proficient. We saw elements of RPOs in the third game of the season.

Burrow wasn't even announced QB until the second week of camp.
