Sunday Morning French Toast!

The other day I picked up a loaf of Thick Sliced Brioche bread in anticipation of making French toast this morning.
You know how it is when you get a new toy...... not that I needed it as an excuse to make French toast. I used to like using Texas Toast sliced bread for this(Actually a day or two old French bread works best)but I really like this thick sliced brioche.
I let the Blackstone heat up on low for about 10 minutes while I prepped the wash and it was ready to cook.
The amount you can cook at once and faster makes this easy.
I also threw a couple of eggs on for the wife. You can literally turned the gas off and cook egg with the residual heat of the griddle.
Time to eat!
Sooo...... good!!!!!

looks great. Love me some French toast. My favorite is probably the bananas foster version at Surrey's

Don’t know what the rich people are eating for breakfast.
May be more expensive but it won’t be better.
That looks really good.
Well done.

Looks great. I was the same way when I got my blackstone last year. Probably used it 4 times a week. The summer months make it tough though. That’s thing is hot to stand over.
