I just can’t imagine the club I support begging a player to join like bayern have with sane. It’s one of the more beta things I’ve seen professional athletes and coaches do.
Don’t blame the player for leaving though. If people treated me like a god and worshipped the ground I walked on before even joining the club I guess I’d be tempted too.

I think the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. Sane was trying to get a raise from City by using “desperate Bayern” as leverage and it doesn’t look like they’re going to offer what he wanted. That’s where all the “drama” is coming from.
