I was at the 97 and 07 Florida game (well, and 87 for that mattter ) Been going to LSU games since 1980. 1997 Florida was the loudest I've ever been to.

For some reason, this statement causes arguments on this board. The comparison to '07 UF, which was a heck of a loud and frenzied experience.

But you are 100% correct, 1997 UF was the loudest, craziest, frenziest experience anyone could have had in Tiger Stadium in the last 25 years. I don't even see it as arguable. As was stated above, the HUNGER of losing was still there, as we were barely out of SIX straight losing seasons.

Also, we had lost to Florida NINE straight times! One of those, I think 4 years earlier, we all walked out of TS and the scoreboard said LSU 3 UF 58. I mean, think about that folks. You young ones... try to wrap your head around THAT!! While you are doing it, picture Spurrier rubbing it in our face, on-camera, on the field, everywhere.

Florida was an absolute juggernaut, I think 25 or 29 straight SEC wins. That's over three seasons of conference wins. No one beat these guys.
