Just finished binge-ing it. Loved the cast.
Never knew it was a comic book. But I am fascinated with explorations of the flawed superhero concept that Watchmen, Chronicle, and Brightburn (never saw it) dove into. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I thought this series was way more enjoyable than the Watchmen movie. Movie-level CGI, great action/thriller, solid organic humor, a little mystery/suspense, a hint of horror and a twist ending.
The cosplay costumes were about the only downside. Maybe the ending could have been more satisfying, but the twist leaves the door open for season 2, so I'm good with it.
It took me all series long to place Homelander's face. Then I realized I hadn't watched him before in anything, only that he has a familiar mouth/smile of Bradley Cooper/John Stamos.

Binged it over the weekend. I was def entertained.
Wasn't huge on the ending, but I think it fits with the narrative and look forward to seeing where they take it next season.
Well done, Amazon.
