The league wants the teams with the most fans to win. I think that's the Bulls, Lakers, Knicks, Celtics, and Warriors (not in any order).
The league does better when they succeed. It also does better when its stars do well. That's LeBron, KD, Steph, Harden, Kawhi, and Giannis -- the names and personalities that casual fans know.
