We don't know if mass is cancerous or not. Only way would be to do surgery and biopsy it...and because the mass takes up most of his liver...surgery would likely kill him anyways. Even if it isn't cancerous...it is getting bigger and will eventually kill him at some point.

For now...he's pretty much his usual 11 year old dog self. Still eating well and wants to play fetch 24/7. His belly just distended. So we enjoy him as long as he still acts this way. When his quality of life gets worse...then we make some tough decisions.

Butters is fine...12 now so an old pug...but acting like his usual goofy pug self.

It really sucks they don't live longer.
