I raised five of them in my life. Best dogs ever. But all dogs should have obedience training. My daughter was born when my first Dobe was about 2 years old. From the minute she came home from the hospital, that was HIS baby. He followed her everywhere, played with her, let her climb all over him, pull his ears, etc. Best dogs ever.
