So, ACA doesn't allow you do that, unless your company premium is higher than 9 percent of your income.

And if it's higher than 9 percent of your income and you otherwise qualify for ACA subsidies, then I'm ok with that.

Again, this isn't really a thing.

EDIT: Unless you mean ACA forced employers to drop coverage which is pushing people onto the marketplace and subsidies. That's happened, but that's not the fault of the employee, or honestly, the employer.

This is what I mean and it is a huge problem.
