Understood. But in fairness, marketing typically portrays corporations as you describe. People dont think of your local law or construction company as a Corporation although by definition they are.
So how to distinguish between a company like Exxon vs. your organization. Would Conglomerate be a more accurate term.
"Collectivists" encompasses the Donor Class, the Political Establishment, the Military Industrial Complex, the Oligarchs, and the obese Multi-National Conglomerates.
The thing about using "Collectivists" (Collectivism) is it's economically and politically agnostic. It doesn't care if the vehicle is capitalism, socialism, communism, egalitarian, racist, nationalist, populist, totalitarian, theological, or fascist.
It's whatever system is active in this location and can I exploit it for power and wealth, and by any means necessary.
People who think the US can be a better place and solve wealth pooling and inequality and corruption simply by changing the type of economic and political system we run under are ignorant, naive, and/or just idiots.
If we went full blown Socialist, not only would nothing change, but the Collectivists would have an even more efficient means of ensuring their wealth and power by having easier access and more excuses to use force and threats of criminal prosecution to compel people to do things.
The problem isn't "Corporations", it's the laws and regulations that make and enable exploitation, corruption, and cronyism to even be possible.
