Any recommendations?

Stay at the Omni, drink lots of bourbon. At least that’s what we did when we went in January.

I did a golf/bourbon tour trip a couple of years ago.
Got in on a Thursday, left on Sunday.
We VRBO'd a nice place for the five of us.
Dinner downtown Thursday night.
Angel's Envy, Old Jefferson, and Bulleit tours on Friday - followed by steak dinner at
Pat's Steak House...I would recommend another place, as it was "okay".
Golf Saturday morning at Champions Pointe in Indiana, and then went to the Clemson/Louisville game
Left Sunday.
Good time...

I have not yet been, but my suggestion is to start the day at the Frazier Museum. The Louisville Slugger Museum looks like it's across the street. After that, there are four distilleries within a one mile stretch of Main Street from the Museum (Michter’s, Evan Williams, Old Forester and Angel’s Envy). Michter's is on the same block as the Frazier Museum. The Muhammad Ali Museum is a couple blocks from Evan Williams Experience. Doc Crow's is next to the Old Forester Distillery. Angel's Envy is at the end of the street across from Louisville Slugger Field.
If you start early, that can be a relaxing, but long day in an area of less than two miles from one end of Main to the other. As long as you're not buying bottles of bourbon at every stop, you could easily walk the entire thing. If you stay at the Omni that others suggest, it's about 3 blocks south of Main St. Distillery Tours all seem to start in the $10-$15 range.
