re: For those who have finished chernobyl, read chapter 10 of Hayek’s “Road to Serfdom”

I went with my wife to a doctors visit because she's having thyroid issues, and we are sitting with the nurse assistant who starts asking all types of questions, most routine.
Then she asks the wife if she's ever been exposed to radiation. The wife says no, then the assistant asks her, " have you ever been to Chernobyl?" I kid you not. It was the strangest question I've ever heard asked at a doctors office.
