Anyone who says a DB like Adams is better than Honey Badger obviously never watched both play. TM7 would just take whatever he wanted when he wanted. He was like a LB playing CB and a small CB at that. Anytime you needed a clutch play he always seemed to take the ball away. Do you remember his freshman year when they were playing TAMU and he lined up and hit a 260lb TE? He made that guy look like his bitch and just took the ball from him in the middle of the tackle. Not to mention he flattened that dude out.
Adams was a hell of a player but it's not even a comparison about who the better DB was. Patrick Peterson was better than Adams too simply because he was such a dominant force teams just completely avoided him. Adams is a S so he could find action in areas like the run game. Patrick Peterson would go to sleep at CB and when teams attempted to attack him he made these effortless domination coverage over the WRs. He was the smoothest athlete I've ever seen at LSU football. You could tell his athleticism was on another level. TM7 was a better football player and nasty.
