1. Tyrann Matthieu - His instincts were incredible as a play maker, defender, special teams, and returns.
2. Tommy Cassanova - Must be judged by his time period. Was the BEST football player in America in his day. Sports Illustrated had his picture on the cover of their preview magazine in his senior year and they stated exactly that.
There are many who would be close, but these two stand out to this Tiger fan from the days of Billy Cannon and company.
