This is Juneau. If you live on the East side of the Channel, you get direct sunlight. I live on the West, no direct sunlight for a couple of months. Doesn't get above the mountains on Douglas Island



The light in summer is more difficult to adjust to IMO. It never gets dark even when the sun sets.

Very similar in Estonia... never pitch black, but sun rise at 1100, back down at 4.
