This is my biggest problem with kids in all college sports these days. I understand that everyone wants to play, but more often than not, it’s worth it to stick it out and persevere through tough times.

while I see your point it is a generalization and some of these "kids" are better served to move on. Joe Burrow for example. the window for a college player to prove he's NFL material is small.

non sports jobs have a longer window to prove one's value. I also absoulutely hate weaklings that give up too easily but I try to recognize that some people should move on as they are either in the wrong career or at the wrong school for them.

altho i'm not willing to aver it's the absolute truth, from what I've read on here it is time for this young man to move on and both sides are feeling that way. hopefully for his sake he will grow up and find another team where he will excel. imo, that's doubtful; people are who they are.
