Here's my thing on the whole college stuff...

Stop forcing diversity. People will always self segregate and instead of admissions allowances and forced diversity, state governments need to do 3 things

1. Force cost annual cost savings by denying additional appropriated dollars without a direct plan for academic outcomes. Example: dont ask for more money without proof of student outcome improvement.

2. Make sure historically Black colleges are in better shape via infrastructure and programs. That keeps them vibrant and attractive for Black kids (or anyone else) who want to attend them or are denied admission to flagships. An example of this is Auburn University at Montgomery. AUM has a higher percentage of Black students than Auburn University. However, Alabama State University (located in Montgomery) existed prior to AUM. Increase effectiveness at ASU and fold AUM, and allow AU to admit who they please.

3. Fold all directional universities that were created to siphon Black students from HBCUs. This was done to make traditional "predominantly white" universities look more diverse after desegregation.
