Gonna throw something a little different at ya. The only thing that matters is that you survive your daily commuting. Period. If you die, the money differential is mute. Of course I am being overly dramatic but it’s a solid point. The Honda drivers get hit they die. Get a safe car that you are likely to survive a hard wreck in, pay a premium, and consider it insurance. The trick in driving high mileage is survival, not pinching pennies. Your choice
