Well you're looking at a guy who's best attribute is his athletic ability, which he's likely to lose a bit of at 31 years old. Seems pretty clear that Sargent will pass him as soon as he gets regular playing time. I don't see us taking more than 3 strikers (unless you count a winger that can slide up top, Weah?). So you're looking at a potential 33 y/o Jozy that can still be an option off the bench, 29/30 year old Bobby Wood (if he can get his career back on track), or one of several promising players that will likely be <24 years old.

Hell, Ferreira is putting up similar numbers as Zardes right now, in the same league.
