Let’s compare how James and Jordan do when they have no all-stars as teammates:

Jordan
Seasons: 8
Playoff appearances: 5
First round series victories: 2
Conference semifinals victories: 1
Conference titles: 0
NBA titles: 0

James
Seasons: 7
Playoff appearances: 5
First round series victories: 5
Conference semifinals victories: 2
Conference titles: 2
NBA titles: 1

Jordan couldn’t win without a superteam. James did, and over the greatest regular season team ever.

A homegrown talent team is not a super team.

A super team has negative connotation Bc super team refers to how a team was formed.

It is when a super star level player leaves his team to team up with two or more other all star caliber teammates.

It is looked down on Bc it shows a lack of competiviensss by the player who has to join a stacked team to win. He has admitted defeat that he can’t do it on his own without stacking a team.

See: lebron to Miami. Kevin to gsw.
