I have pebbletec cause I wanted the look
Natural and blended with yard
I like that but yes rough at first but smooths our case little one pop off and always vacuuming them up
Idk what I would do next time I really like the look better but get tired of little grains settling in steps corners etc
And it really was rough for first few years not now but you felt it on feet
If the plaster goes with the backyard landscaping I think I would do that

Just chose between these this year. Went with quartz. It was the best middle grade option to us. Liked the smoothe texture as well. It was a refinish not a new install. We have brick coping and a concrete deck that will be resurfaced soon. Im very pleased at how the quartz came out. We used TnT pools ..check them out if you arw in the Baton Rouge area
