3-9X or 3-10X w/ 40-44 mm Objective. Don't need an adjustable objective or target knobs. As far as brand, I'd suggest a Redfield Revolution or whatever product line is in your price range from Nikon, Leupold, Burris or Vortex. One other tip, one can frequently find factor refurbs or blems at deeply discounted prices from Natchez Shooters Supply. I've bought a couple scopes from them like that and have been very pleased.

Saw a Bushnell 3200 elite firefly at pawn shop today for $220. Anybody know anything about them? 3-9x50.

Thanks for the help. Think I’ve narrowed it to one of the Nikon models. One final question, can’t really see the difference in the buckmaster II models and Prostaff 3. Am I missing something obvious? Buckmaster is a bit less $$

Vortex makes a fine scope. I own six of them. No issues. I used to buy Nikon. When my house flooded the only scopes that got water in them were the Nikons. No other brand got water in them. Therefore, I don’t buy them anymore.
