Tugar Sits would be funnier, anyway.

Should I play RDR (original) before I try this one?

I tend to avoid overhyped games these days, but an open world, wild west RPG, at least in the key of Elder Scrolls, might be just what I need later this year.

It isn't necessary. RDR2 is actually the prequel to RDR, so in essence you could play it second. Now, there is definitely some stuff that was really cool being able to see in RDR2 that you wouldn't really pick up on if you didn't play RDR.

Buddy of mine had never played RDR and went straight to RDR2 and loved it.

This game and RDR definitely aren't over hyped. Now, like any game, it just may not be your thing, but both games really are phenomenal.

RDR is really great. It's a much different pace than RDR2. If you like rockstar games then I would say go ahead and do it.
