Not during the day but I also live in a very safe suburban area. Essentially very little crime. I obviously lock the doors at night.
With that said if I lived in a more urban area I would keep the doors locked at all times. Plus it's just me, no wife or kids, if I had a family I would probably keep them locked more often. You just never know nowadays.

I grew up in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans and now reside in Mid-City. The crime in Mid-City is relatively low now compared to what it was pre-Katrina.
However, a few of my neighbors do have cameras set up around their houses and report a group of kids coming through the neighborhood from time to time late at night with flashlights looking into cars and trying doorknobs.
I guess I should knock wood, but I've been in my house since 92 and haven't had anything stolen from me in all those years.
