Yup. Anything with autographs needs a bit of care to preserve the signature. I was at Yankee Stadium early this summer and went to their museum. They have autographed baseballs from Ruth, Gehrig, etc. They look pretty damn good considering the age. They are in UV protected cases and you can’t take flash photography of them.

If your display isn’t UV protected, you may as well put it in a closet.
