It's because the reaction of the recent Russophobes in this country is so phony. I love hearing neocons and liberal internationalists wail about Russian meddling in our democracy. I'll tell you what, if meddling is so bad, let them put their money where their mouth is and come out against us meddling in elections. They'd never do it though, because we are addicted to it. We are more addicted to war, coups and all other forms of violent meddling than the Russians ever were.

You know why Putin was so anti-Hillary? Because she was SOS when the American government instigated a coup in Ukraine that put into power a regime that threatened the well-being of ethnic Russians in Crimea. Our own meddling led to Russian meddling. So do we learn from this mistake? No, we double down on it, because the anti-Trump caucus on this site wants a war with Russia.
