Seems like every new bar that opens is all hip to the max with not A tv.
Bars with TV's were never cool. Go back to 1988 and Cocktail. The crappy neighborhood bar that Tom Cruise's Uncle Pat owned had a TV with the LSU-Georgia game on.
When Tom Cruise makes it to TGiFridays with Bryan Brown and they blow up like rock stars, there are no TVs in sight either at Friday's or that avant garde poetry bar.
That was 30 years ago. Only lame bars with Archie Bunker types have TV's on with CNN.
Sports bars are a different story.
A regular bar with a TV is only for fossils and alcoholics.
