This is a true statement. Even better get some barges and a really massive net. They could slow that thing down and then pop some chutes and land in a net that is several acres stretched between about 4 barges.

The ultimate goal is to land rockets on Mars and relaunch them home.
Think about the logistics if that relaunch were to require acres of nets, several cranes and structural engineers certifying no damage when the rocket toppled into the net.
