LSU used a good bit of max protection looks and only two wide receivers out in patterns on Saturday against the Lions. Orgeron said opening it up to get the quick passing game going is also an option, but it'll allow Auburn's defensive line an easier route to quarterback Joe Burrow, who also needs to improve.

"That's an option, to go empty and go 4-wides, throw the quicks. Two of the times that we had protection, we had a chip on and Badara had help, but Joe held the ball too long. The receivers wasn't open so you bring up a good point and those are options," the coach said. "We can go empty, we can go 4-wides. It's less protection and we're taking a chance."
