The problem with the Next Gen is that almost all of them have awful return games if you look at their stats. That's why Felix is so much better than the rest of the Next Gen players. He's won 24% of his return games on hard court for his career which is a higher break percentage than Federer and Djokovic had at the same points in their careers. The guy has the tools to be an excellent returner.

Felix Auger-Aliassime will end up being a force Bench I’m certain of that. The kid has both the volley game and he can bang out the baseline. I agree his return of service is better than the rest of the “new generation” also. But I’m not abandoning Fed or Nadal just because I want to see new blood win a slam. I’m pulling hard for the kings to keep on winning.

Exactly. Everyone focuses on the tweeners and hot shots and ignores the return game.
