At one point old people hated Elvis and the Beatles. Old people hate everything.

My grandmother was born in 1920 and was smack in the middle of the WWII generation. And she adored Elvis. She loved Gospel Elvis, Rock Elvis, Movie Elvis, skinny Elvis, fat Elvis, didn’t matter... she loved Elvis. I remember her sobbing while watching his funeral on TV.
