I'd wait on the new Merc v6 225. Its like 450 lbs vs. the new v8 250-300.
As for your original question, I'd take Zuk over Yammy right now.
At the end of the day, you need to pick the motor that your local guy sells and services, and has the best warranty. If you have a shop you trust, and use, then thats your engine. Not much difference otherwise.
