apples and oranges bro. You're living on acreage. probably in the woods. Near some tragic little town like Gloster. That's not the same as Houma.

don't get me wrong, Houma isn't great. But you can't compare Houma to the woods of Mississippi. It aint the same thing.

Tiger that is the exact reason I moved. Was time for a change and after we sold the family business there was nothing holding me to the city anymore. Don’t get me wrong I definitely enjoyed growing up in Terrebonne parish.

I have family from Gloster and would be offended except that description nails the place perfectly. No reason for it to exist.

Houma was great in the 60’s - 80’s until the oilfield crashed the first time. Fishing and duck hunting was fabulous. Now everything is washing away. There have been drastic changes in Terrebonne Parish the last thirty years. I see a lot of no good ,don’t give a frick trashy people now. Living down the bayou was great years ago.
