Imo I don't think having a max slot available for FA is the goal for us right now. I think taking on contracts for players/picks is the way to maximize our current and future roster

Taking on picks and contracts is one thing. Taking on Bazemore’s deal better pay more than a 2020 pick given that we are also moving back from 4 to 8.
