I’ve gotten to the point where I just feel nothing watching the USMNT. Little excitement or anger. Just apathy. That’s all they deserve from fans right now. Our three best players are 20, because our lost generation was complete trash, and we are in all-out rebuild mode getting smacked around by a baseball country just days before our first competitive game in almost two years.

I have no confidence in anyone from the USSF to run our federation. They make the Louisiana State gov’t look competent.

Watching the national team just puts me in a bad mood and makes me question why I enjoy this sport. Watching the growth of our domestic leagues and youth development is the only thing keeping me engaged right now. It’s the only thing that keeps me hopeful. I’m still optimistic for the sport in this country, but it’s gonna be rough watching the USMNT for a while.
