I passed by it last weekend and could’ve swore I seen some type of contractor/construction crew working over there...

I would stop there with my kids if we were driving east, just for the novelty of it. And for that weird feeling you get when you’re hanging out in some forlorn place in the middle of nowhere. I used to stop at that park/playground on the I-10 in Jennings pretty often for the same reason. And then go eat at the Jennings Shoneys bc it was a time machine to 1987.
