Reading comprehension is obviously not your strong suit. Those figures are for the whole Battle of Normandy - which was fought from June 6, 1944 - July 27, 1944. D-Day was merely the first day of that battle yet we only ever talk about THAT day. I feel like June 6 gets way too much attention when you take into account how important the rest of the fighting in Normandy was.
