That's a different statement than you're original one.

The first part of your statement made sense, the second part weht off the rails a little bit, but I agree that reliability and quality aren't necessarily one and the same.

A poor driving car is always crappy, even if it starts and goes every time. Just my opinion, but I’d rather drive something with inspiring handling characteristics that I may have to put in the shop from time to time. Show me a car that parts don’t wear on and it’s likely one I don’t want to drive.
