You paid 28k for that including all the work and pumps and decking?
I typically say if you want a basic pool with white plaster/brick coping/ceramic tile(starting point) you're looking at about $500 a LF of the perimeter. So if you want a 12x30 size pool, you're starting at 42k in general. That's a good ballpark of what they will start at in my area.

Yep, by the biggest pool builder in our area.
I did have it built in October though trying to take advantage of their slow season. The guy told me in the fall and winter they usually do them for just about cost to keep their crews busy so they don't lose them during the winter.
