Again, this isn’t without precedent.
LeBron had a ton of haters from the Kobites.
Especially when he changed teams to pair up with a few all stars.
It’s normal message board behavior for the NBA landscape, I’m just pointing it out.
Durant’s a weirdo, obsessed with proving people wrong. I enjoy it.
He absolutely made the right move going to Golden State. He’s measurably better on both sides of the court since going there, & he was already the best scorer in the league despite playing with the most self centered player in the league.
It’s a bad year for LeFans, as the general narrative is not really interested in basketball anymore...which is completely fair after 16 years.
If it wasn’t good for his media empire & his wish to play ball with his son, he’d be retired.
That’s okay, but just acknowledge it so the Internet can move on.

Well you can stand there being a moron then. Durant gets hate because he does stupid unnecessary shite on social media and because he left the thunder to join the 73 win team he blew a 3-1 lead against. Neither has anything to do with Lebron.
You didn’t see Lebron fans hating curry in 15 and 16 when there was talk of him being better.
You didn’t see Lebron fans hating kawhi when he locked Lebron down in 14 better than Durant ever has.
You don’t see Lebron fans hating Giannis now that he is the likely heir apparent.

Sure, if he wanted to win championships without being recognized as THE reason for winning those championships. Which he clearly doesn’t, based on his social media behavior.
