Dumbass, we now host a regional. We needed one win and got it. We have a chance at a late season run in a year absolutely decimated by injuries.
I don't give a shite if Peterson can't pitch again in the SEC Tournament.

Since LSU won the game, I don't think it's a waste.
However, it is perhaps a little worrisome that both Peterson and Fontenot saw extended action last night as the tourney moves forward, but LSU absolutely needed that win last night so it was worth it.
