Why do you assume the husband's are "tools"? Wouldn't having "tools" for husbands make them less happy overall? Uh yeah, it is, at least in some sense. People experience things differently and have different reactions to their circumstances. The Bible teaches people to put their trust in God, not themselves or other people. Doing so will lead to greater happiness as God doesn't "let us down" like we sinners do to each other all the time.

For Christians, a Christ-centered relationship should result in general happiness as both people in the relationship are working together towards the same goal, which is hopefully God's glory.

Good for you. It sounds like you and your wife share a similar worldview which allows you both to tackle life's problems in the same way.

A lot of people don't marry someone who shares the same worldview as themselves, which leads to major conflicts that ultimately are too difficult to bear and which lead to a split.
