only person who was bringing his name up was the politician. he wasnt giving interviews. they werent leaking. they apparently werent witch hunting, or they were just bad at it, despite their unfettered power and bias. so i stand by my statement: he did as good a job remaining apolitical as one could, given the circumstances.

He led the investigation and wrote a report, and I would assume, that probably speaks for everything that there is worth saying on the matter. bringing him in to testify is just political theater and contrary to the way he conducted himself through out.

Id be very surprised if we ever hear him speak about it publicly.
