Darth, you gonna volunteer to raise the kid? Because the 10 year old can't. We just gonna throw the innocent baby into foster care and hope for the best?
If it was a choice between the child dying or me raising it? I’d adopt it in a heartbeat. But, just to further disprove your false narrative about kids being forced into foster care so it would be better if we just killed them instead, here’s some facts...

Some sources estimate that there are about 2 million couples currently waiting to adopt in the United States — which means there are as many as 36 waiting families for every one child who is placed for adoption.

So stop with the lie that there will be a bunch of unwanted kids living in horrible orphanages all across the country. There’s 2 million families right now ready to adopt.

I only have experience in Louisiana, but this statement is pretty inaccurate. Are there families waiting for adoption? Yes, but most of them are looking for newborns that look like them. They aren't looking for the older kids or teens that languish in the system until they age out. Ask any DCFS/CPS worker and they will tell you the same thing. They absolutely struggle to find foster/adoptive parents for any older child.
