A soul isn't a scientific concept and the hypothalamus isn't formed for consciousness/memory yet. Do you remember being in the womb? Unless there IS some after life, nothing is missed with abortion. But hell that child will be conscious and aware of their misfortune to allow them to be birthed. There's already enough suicidal people on this earth as it is.

Women aren't forced incubators and had men been given the role of making it through the hardships of pregnancy abortion would be much more common.
