Google definition: in·fan·ti·cide /in'fan(t)??sid/ noun 1. the crime of killing a child within a year of birth. "cases of infanticide often involve extreme emotional disturbance" 2. a person who kills an infant, especially their own child.

Read 2. So I am sure you will now argue that a baby in the womb Is not an infant, so I give you google’s definition of infant.

quote:

in·fant /'inf?nt/ noun noun: infant; plural noun: infants a very young child or baby. synonyms: baby, newborn, young child, little child, little one; More bairn, wean; informaltot, tiny tot, tiny, sprog; literarybabe, babe in arms; technicalneonate "she picked up the fretful infant"
- denoting something in an early stage of its development. modifier noun: infant "the infant science of bioelectrical medicine" synonyms: developing, emergent, emerging, dawning, embryonic, nascent, new, fledgling, budding, burgeoning, growing, up-and-coming "the protection of infant industries"

Denoting something in early stage of development. Embryonic. Hmmmm....sounds like he had the term “infanticide” correct.
