and this suggests to me you aren't well informed on this subject. people treat the sbc like a denomination but the sbc only exists for one week every year. after that, every church goes their own way. so, if you know that, then you're blanketing every sbc church with the same criticism which is dumb.

this is ridiculous. who are "the rest"? quote what they said. and the vast majority of sbc churches in the convention are less than 200 people.

Ehh... SBC is more than a once a year meeting. There’s Lottie Moon drives, Missionaries have to go through the SBC for good funding (if there’s something the SBC does right it’s missions giving) votes throughout the year on policy, etc. it definitely does not have the same power over its churches that the Catholic Church does. That being said there is a big push for SJW causes coming from leadership (looking at you Russel Moore)
